"Gabriel's Oboe" is a song performed in the 1986 British film "The Mission" by the main character, Father Gabriel.
The melody is carefree and beautifully played with the unique sound of the oboe.
I, myself, originally majored in trumpet, so I arranged it wondering what it would be like to play it with the sound of a brass quintet.
In addition, the trumpet produces moderately high notes, so the arrangement is such that you can practice high notes while playing beautiful music.
Personally, I like the interlude only in the middle and low bass in the second half.
In the original song, it will be a string instrument interlude. So please try playing it as if you were a string instrument.
