subdominant
The subordinate sound is the 4th sound on the 7th note scale. It has a great influence on music as an important sound for main tones and belongings. The reason is that the belonging sound is said to be quite simple with the frequency ratio with the main sound being 3: 4 completely 4 degrees above or completely 5 degrees below the main sound. The subordinate tone is a key whose main tones are subordinate tones of a certain key. Relationship seen from the main point to the last. One of relatives. It is a deep relationship with key tone as well as subordinate tone. The subordinate chord is a chord created on the subordinate sound. The chord which can be made with three sounds by overlapping the constituent notes of the scale every other thing is called Shimonosechon.
In harmony, the function of the subordinate chord is called a subdominant. From the subordinate chord, the main chord is a genus chord. Therefore it seems natural that the main chord progressed to subordinate chords. This feeling is a function of subdominant. You can also feel the subordinate dominant form with the sixth note attached to the subordinate chord which is written in the score example. The inverted form, that is, the chord made on the second note of the principal is also considered as a subdominant. In the case of minor, it is possible to produce a distinctive sound by lowering the added sixth note by a semitone. This chord is commonly called the chord of Naples. It seems that it came from a place heavily used by composers of the Naples school in the 17th century.
