Tone changes in the middle of a song. There are various methods of transposition, but generally there are methods using functions such as dominant and subdominant. This is interpreted as dominant, subdominant, etc. of chord which was used in music as a key tone, and it is modulated in that flow. In tonal music it can be said that the development of such transposition methods has made music progress to richer ones. As a result, music not feeling tonality was born.

In other words, the main tones have the same major and minor relationship.

To change to the same tone is also called rolling.
