allegro
Speed indicator. Rapidly. Actively. Generally speaking it represents a fast tempo but how quick it depends on the sense of the performer. Often we enrich expressions by adding other words around. Derivatives include allegretto, allegrissimo.
For example ... allegro → rit. (Get late) → Return to original tempo (allegro) with a tempo. The difference from tempo I (tempo primo) is that a tempo is used for temporary changes, but tempo I returns to the first tempo of the song. In tempo I case allegro (fast music) → andante (to be late music) & rarr; Return to the first tempo (allegro) with tempo I.
